You’re not working on the world, you’re working on you. You start with you and you’re going to end with you because that’s where the work is until you can get to a point to be able to say with great satisfaction, “This is who I am.” Many of the great ones have gone to their deaths proclaiming, “This is who I am.”

Maybe you’re like me. Sometimes when I look back, I don’t even recognize that person, myself, so it’s easy for me to look back and shake my head. I don’t know who he was but he apparently didn’t know what he was doing.

But the secret of reality is always the same: the joy of existence, the bliss of being alive, of being in the human body, of realizing you are a spiritual being having a physical experience. In that evolutionary process, you must learn to face and embrace, to take responsibility for the issues affecting your life because you are the one who created them.
